Illuminated windscreen & shiftlight pics
Wow, that looks so cooool. You are definitely onto something here. Now where do you get these 'wheat lights' from, how much are they, and can you get blue? Is that the full size windscreen and are you happy with it?
There is a new product on the market by Street Glow called Hott Wirez. These new lights have identical properties to electrical wires, can be bent in any form and also can be cut to any length with no problem. They hook up to any 12 volt source and can be seen easily from 3/4 mile away. You can buy them in any street glow color.
MY POINT IS:
it would be SOOO much easier to just run this wire along the bottom of the windsheild and hook it up to the break light, instead of drilling out holes and placing LEDs in. Another big plus for this way is that it takes care of the unequal distribution of the light on the S2K logo. This will overcome the problem with "bright spots". and you can choose between 9 awsome neon colors!!
I DID NOT DO THIS NOR AM I COMPLETELY SURE IT WILL WORK but.. i cant see any problems with it and it seems like a whole hell of a lot easier job to complete than Silver S2k Guy explained.
