At first I thought it was another autocross video about someone losing control and hitting something. I was completely floored when that happen. Like something from a movie!

Here's the story according to someone who was at the same autox and knows the guy:

The guy bought lug nuts for his Enkeis from a reputable vendor but was given the wrong size. Basically, the lugs were too big (larger diameter), but still small enough that the lug nut threads caught the stud threads juuuust with the tips, barely by a hair. He torqued the wheels before his run, but at the first hard turn the loaded wheel's studs sheared off. Once one wheel went, traction for that wheel was distributed to all the other wheels and of course their lugs failed the same way.

Damage to the car wasn't bad. Just the dents your see on the video and warped brake rotors. Fortunately, FD's have most undercarriage bits tucked in into the body. They put most lugs back on and he drove the car off the course.
