The Rex

The Rex at a Solo 2 event on Panasport ULs

Ricks console cover. (Must have) pictures do it no justice

The car has been lowered on KG/MM Race springs on stock shocks. I bought them from Mingster and installed them in about 4 hours. The ride is a little bit harsher but IMO the car is a little more neutral and the lower CG really makes the car stay planted. However, the stock shocks do not damp enough for these springs so it is a very little bouncy on large bumps, I also expect it to get bouncier with time although at the moment it's just fine. The s2k should have been delivered lowered with these springs, just perfect.

Other than that, the wheels have been powdercoated gunmetal and I am running on Toyo RA1s

That covers it, what ya'll think?

I think you should get the black chrome kit for your S, that would just look sick.

i'm pretty sure he has rick's S badges, so it wouldn't be very useful to him since the side emblems look pretty much the same.

Hey Sev,
Both cars are pretty nice! Having previously owned 2 CRXs, I ended up regretfully selling them. I wish my financial situation allowed me to get one again for a beater.

Oh, and can I request a side profile shot of your S2k?

Thanks.

Yup, best springs money can buy for this car IMO.

Make me do this every time I look at the car.

after not being able to find ONE pic of a stock s2k on kg/mm race springs, i gave up and bought ground control springs!
i saw one bad pic actually and it made the drop look very NON noticeable, so i gave up and went w/the GC's.
excellent drop man, really nice!
