Impressions of my new wheels?
I see you've already made up your mind, but for the benefit (?) of anyone else who might be surfing this thread, I have to say I don't think the riveted (?) look fits well with the clean lines of the S2k. Of course, I would never photograph the car with the top up either, so whaddaIknow?

You want my opinion?
Straight up ghetto. If I saw you rolling around here in Seattle, I'd have a good laugh.
For a car like the S2000 that's so performance-oriented, you shouldn't go around putting on rims that look like direct descendants of Dubs. I'm all for flash, but not that kind of flash for the S2000.
Plus they're heavy as hell and I'm sure you rub. You're losing performance and not gaining anything in looks.
There you have it.

I don't like them. They don't particularly suit the lines of the S2000. I think a "racing" type wheel (whatever that truly is) would suit the vehicle much better. Hmm..maybe what I'm trying to get at is that the S2K has such a defined, chiseled silouette, that those wheels take away from the overall package.

Actually, 21lbs front and 23lbs rear for 19" rims are pretty light. In comparison, 18" RH C5's weigh from 25 to 28lbs. You will lose performance with those rims, but that only matters if you like to drag race or compete at the track. Then again, most guys put their oem rims on at the track anyways.
