INLINEFOUR.com:
a friend of mine ordered a Spoon Sports throttle body from INLINEFOUR.com. it set him back about 10 weeks. they had promised to have it within 4 weeks (which seemed honest if you've ever tried to get JDM parts as a low-volume distributor). when he called back after 4 weeks, they delayed him another 4 weeks. after that, he called again and they said they had it, but would take 2 more weeks to get it out to him. about 10 weeks later, he got it.

in November of 2001, i ordered a JDM Honda Prelude front gunmetal upper grill from these guys to give to my little brother as a gift with the Prelude that I was giving him. I provided a part number and emailed them with a photo and called with a description. they said the part would definately be in by December, late January at the very latest. I called at the end of January only to be greeted by a message machine. after leaving my info and waiting for 2 weeks, I called again and spoke to a gentleman that informed me it was on backorder. he said it would be in by late March (16 weeks after i ordered, 8 weeks after they said it would be in). I called at the end of March and they barely found my order. They said late April. It is now late April, and I will be calling them tomorrow (this thread just reminded me that I ordered this part!). I'm betting they will have no clue who I am and will not be able to find my order.

just this past Saturday, i ordered a Spoon Sports throttle body from these guys. the guy on the phone on weekends seems way more hospitable than the guy that answers phones on weekdays. anyways, they said they had it in stock and would ship it out on Monday (April 29th). They said to expect it between Wednesday and Friday. I'll keep you guys posted on how that goes.

update on AJ-Racing.com
-------------------------------
i called in today, and apparently it's still on back order. however, the guy on the phone was able to pull up my order and cancel the order and return the deposit for me. i'm not quite sure what's going there, but for JDM orders, i don't think i will go back there. however they seem to be quite honest about what they carry in stock (rather than telling you it's in stock just so you place an order). hopefully you guys will have better luck with them. their customer service isn't superior but it's not bad at all.

I've been very satisfied with my dealings with AJ-R -- friendly guys who really know Hondas inside and out! They also seem to have the most parts availability since they are the authorized North America Spoon distributor!

Unfortunately, I haven't dealt with either inlinefour nor JDMHondaParts so I can't relay any experience I've had with them.

Spoon Sports TB: [ordered from JDMHondaParts.com]

I'm very satisfied with their prompt delivery. I order it on Saturday (like I said, the guy that answers phones on weekends seems more hospitable). They informed that they will ship it Monday and I should receive it Wednesday of the same week. I had my doubts about them actually shipping it Monday, but here it is! I am happy with my experience with JDMHondaParts.com.
