there should not be a gap like that, unless your rear mounting hardware is messed up

hhhmmm your going to need to make sure your seal for the base is thick enough to close that gap, looks bad but is do-able. Does the gap go all way round, if so then loosen off the mounts (3 bolts) to the HT and see if the roof drops down a bit. Otherwise the solution is in the seal its thickness, and its ability to compress in the lesser gap spaces.

I have the same top with same bracket. Make sure you push top all the way down before bolting it down. Double up on weatherstripping where that gap is.

i got the same bracket but that gap is pretty big
when you install the hardtop just bolt down all the bolts loosely than adjust it til it sits right than tighten the bolts down
