Interior Done - Comments?
I finished the upholstery on my seats tonight - took about 4 hours total for both. I'm going to redo the doors, as I want to lessen the amount of red, add perforation and contrast stitching as well as tighten them up.
The leather is twice as thick as OEM stuff - much softer and plusher - reminds me of the feel of the shift boot I got from Rick's. It is all the same color, the flash is making the driver's side look lighter than the other side (plus the crappy lighting in the garage). I've got to get leather moisturizer tomorrow - get them softened and smoothed out.
I'm mostly happy... I want to adjust part of the driver's side insert yet, but that's only because I'm pretty particular about my own worl. Fitment of the insert is the same as OEM, but I think I can make it a little tighter.
Thoughts - opinions?

Very nice!
But the leather does look a little loose in certain areas like you said. That leather looks and must be more comfy than OEM. I would leave the doors alone. I personally thing there is just enough Red in them to flow right.
After much shopping, researching and several mistakes, I managed to piece a package together for roughly $700, plus $40 in labor to have a local trim shop resew the inserts with the perforated leather (to achieve the desired two-tone effect). This included the door panels as well.
Install is fairly simple; if you're comfortable with hand tools and patient, it's a DIY project that should take less than a day. Much easier to do this car than when I swapped interiors in our RSX (side air bags).
After some other owners see it in person (pictures don't do it justice), I'm thinking about doing a groupbuy on it. Probably $650 - $750, I'd handle getting the inserts taken care of and play quality control person with Katzkin (I've got a couple contacts).

looks good, a tad loose but im sure a hot day can shrink that right up...haha
i love the red stitching...next the steering wheel and some for the ebrake? even in the console cover too...TYPE R BABY!!!
muz black floormats with red trim and logo would be perfect in there.
