Introduction pics...
Yeah it's a stock S. Just figured I'd introduce myself here because I post/take a lot of pictures.
My name's Modi (pronounced Mo-Dee), I'm an avid Honda fanatic, my Honda/Acura rap sheet includes a lightly modded '00 Civic Si, a built all motor B16 CRX, a 95 Integra GS-R with a couple bolt-ons, and most recently an 01 Pheonix Yellow Type-R. I'll post up a couple pics of the others later, but here's a couple pictures of the ITR:

I've also owned a '91 Toyota MR2 Turbo, a '98 BMW 540i, a Nissan Pathfinder, an '00 Jeep Cherokee Sport (current snow beater), and a Volvo wagon.
Okay enough of the past...I've always been a big S2000 fan since their introduction, but being <20 years old insurance costs always scared me away. I almost scooped one up a year ago, I got an insurance quote at $8k per year
But, my time came when I got a good offer on my ITR and found this little bugger on the side of the road. Original, older lady owner, mint condition, new top, new tires, 50k miles. I ended up selling my R and buying the S and had some change to spare, accomplishing my goal of owning an S2000 before escaping my teen years (with 2 weeks to spare)
A little bit about myself, I'm from Long Island (Suffolk), I'm a freelance photographer so if you want to take some pics let me know (free, I love taking pics), I have a small retail shop with a couple buddies selling everything automotive called Savage Autosports .
I'm a senior citizen on Honda-Tech, where I still post frequently and sell anything I have that I can (personally, little bit of business stuff too). I'm not sure whether I want to buy a membership to this site yet. I'd like to be able to sell things, but the idea of paying for an internet forum...
well we just won't go there. The S2000 forum of Honda-Tech isn't cutting it. Honestly, I'd like to see more tech info here as well. It seems like all I read are old people with their AP2's and all the new stuff blah blah blah.
I'm looking forward to attending a couple HPDE's as well as Auto-X's when the weather warms up a bit, something I never got to do with my R. If anyone has any info or can point me in the right direction I'm all ears, I'm a n00b.
Well without further adue, here's my S...

Eibach springs, OEM Front Lip, and a Berk test pipe are on the way. I want to keep the car as close to stock as possible for now, as I am driving it throughout the winter and I want to learn how to drive the car before I start messing with it (I'm a bit of a noob at RWD). Come spring time I'll be bolting on the Comptech and adding some wheels, full exhaust system, and a roll bar. The roll bar might come sooner.
See y'all around!

Welcome.. I'll address some of your issues quickly. Memberships here do many things, including keeping out some of the trouble makers that other forums seem to keep. $20 dollars a year to help support the community is a minor thing and the money goes to support the site, software, etc. We have insurance for meets and lots of things that your probably not use to from Honda-Tech. I was on Honda-Tech a long time ago.. and it got really old with all the immaturity and ridiculous crap that was on there. There was a ton of good info on there but it was more of a pain to find the good through the crap.
The S2kI community is the tightest knit group of owners you'll probably find if actually stick around and attend events. Your ITR looked good
We're glad your here and hope you enjoy your stay and there is plenty of info here for you. Anything you have questions about somebody has the right answers. Oh, and one final thing, Your really not allowed to advertise unless your a paying sponsor. You have a link to your shop, no big deal since you didn't know but just for future reference administration doesn't bend on that considering that is part of the sites revenue.
If you need anything you can PM any of the mods or admin, we're nice most of the time

Thanks for the compliments!
I agree, it can get a little crazy over at Honda-Tech...fortunately the ITR forum was fairly well maintained as far as keeping trolls out goes. I suppose I can come up with $20 bucks for a membership, I'll look into it this weekend. Maybe even forum sponsorship
Yes, those are 4 front AP1 wheels in the second picture. Unfortunately I had to give 2 of them back to the S2000 owner, leaving me with a spare set of AP1 wheels. I'm going to sell the rims to my friend to put on his EP3 for the winter, and keep the tires (stock set of S0-2's) for a set of track wheel's which I'll scoop up this spring.
I like going to meets and meeting other owners, I'll look for when the next metro area meet is.
Thanks for the warm welcome
