Default js front fenders with stock ap2 bumper

This is one of my old threads that I am bringing back to see if any more people have tried this over the time that has passed.

looking for pics of s2ks with js front fenders + stock bumpers. Would love to see if the extra piece intended for the front bumper works with the stock bumpers of the S.

also looking for different angled shots pls.

edit: update....

Well I finally found a shop willing to do the work I need done, but I may still change my mind on using them or not. I'm currently just working on different ways that using the J's fender with the stock bumper and lip would actually work, and I've come to only one way being possible. The J's fender piece that attaches to the bumper would have to be modified to work the factory lip(that's the easy part), but the factory lip will also have to be modified to fit around the fender piece(that's the hard part).

For now I took two photos that were taken at the exact same angle, height, etc, and combined them to give the shop an idea of what I'm going for...here's what I have so far as the only way I see this working.

I made it an animation so you can literally see the changes...give it a sec to start up.

what do you guys think? I took a stock S, and found a pic of a NFR S with the J's kit on and combined them.....then I started modifying the image to work together. I'm hoping to get the parts, finalize my choice on the shop, and get this done by the end of the year along with some other custom body mods.

thank you! without the extra vented piece it looks to crazy.

it looks like the bumper piece is a little off, was it not fitting properly?
also did you reuse the inner fender covers with this?

The car I posted is "faukengenius"'s car.

I believe he used the fender liners provided by J's. I don't know why it looks off on the first pic, but if you look at the rest, it looks fine.

woah that brought back memories.

I ran this awhile back and in the first picture it only needed a little more effort to fitting it properly to make it look right.

I used the frp fender liners provided with the fenders. You have to ditch the oem fenders for these.

did you have to file the extension for the OEM lip to fit?

i'm hoping this will work with the ap2 oem bumper.

I would think without the vent piece you would get endless rock chips along the side though.

^FYI it won't work with an ap2. I already tried on a fellow ap2 owner. This would work w/ a spoon bumper, j's(of course), ap1, an probably a few others. I'm sure with enough alterations it might work.

Good luck!

was it because the bottom of the ap2 bumper curves inword to accomadate the lip? I guess what I'm asking is what part of the peice was off? I'm hoping if the top portion of the piece near the headlight matched, then I could just modify the bottom half because I see it extends all the way to the bottom of the bumper.
I was looking to mod it to get to the the highest point of the ap2 lip on the sides...have it stop there.

sorry to attack you wth questions, but your the first person i've seen who has had this done on a stock bumper.
