i was looking on their website and their was a picture of a insert to go under the hood in the vents is this necessary and also what could happen if you don't put these inserts in. i also have a custom hood i am getting made by mastergrade and would like to show it to everyone to get some opinions i think you guys might like it. it is under the gallery with listing of custom hood i emailed a guy earlier to post it but he didn't can someone help me out just leave a posting under that listing.

Actually play around with the hood Chris. Mine sits a little lower than that. No gaps and everything is even.

I just got my MUGEN hood in today as well and Chris you are right the quality of the MUGEN hood in my opinion is lesser quality than the J's Racing Type V hood . Also, give me a call when you can...(760)404-8201

Hood looks great but I dont get why a top tuner like J's is copying off Mugens style.... thats what ebay is for.

They didn't. First Molding copied the design, J's Racing just took some of the FM hoods and sold them at a higher price. But there is no doubt that these hoods are pretty high quality.
