Actually, I have the Version 2 and there's no clearcoat. I had both the Version 1 and Version 2 at one point but decided to keep the V2. Both of mine were dry carbon with no clearcoat and you're right, all the new V2's I've seen have a clearcoat. I think I might just have one of the first V2's that were made. I did buy it about 3 years ago.

 

Ive seen Chris' J's hood in person it is in fact nicer than the 2 mugen hoods I have seen. Why can't Mugen use 1 sheet of CF for their hood? Im not gonna pay 2600 and have a big line through the middle of my hood where the 2 sheets match up.

And, you dont need to spend $2600 on a supposed dry carbon hood to be able to stand on it. Took this pic myself, no damage to the hood.

I wanna order some speical paints to paint some big @ss Advan logos on all 4 rubbers. I overpaid for these tires and I am very pissed. Although these tires served me well on the track, I am so afraid that people wont recognize they are Advan Neova's u know.

I am also interested in the used ARC dual exhaust your selling, I wanna be the FIRST one in the North America to have it, so I can accuse ppl for copying my style for fun in the later days hehe

With my new engine dressing components from J's, I am fairly confident my car will get more attention than yours in the car shows even after you put on your Mugen CF HT which is not even dry CF (I am sure if J's does decide to make one, it will look hella dry)

I am so JDM I only sleep on the right side of the bed, I know everything about JDM so dont EVER question my taste man. I just want to point out Power is nothing without bling. the earlier V2's were not clearcoated, I bought mine approx 3 yrs ago and its not clearcoated.

it doesnt bug me though, just a bit hard to clean.
