seeker did an amazing job on that lilttle civic. that car SCREAMS down the touge.
yeah the engine is about as good as it freaking gets, MMMMMM K-Tech.

it is like 235ps from a B16B isn't it, and I believe it is an equal Bore X Stroke like their 215 SS F20C isn't it?

I really really want to try a staggered tire setup like they are using on my EG6, i believe they were using 215/16's up front and 195 or 205/15's in the rear, but Spoon is using 255F 235R on their EK , I am sure the EG could handle it too , but that might just be too much tire for a civic, no matter how much power.

it works really well of you've got the sway bar to handle it. i had on 04 civic EX sedan 5sp, with a full DC5R suspension swap, and i ran 225/205 setup and that car had some stick!

The video commented that the WRC car was brought out of storage from the Mitsubishi facility. The are only few tarmac stages in WRC and the car was probably used last in a gravel format. (maybe UK?) Since Mitsubishi never officially campaigned in 06 and 07, this would make sense.

An 05 WRC car won't be a top finishing car in WRC as rally teams continuously roll out newer cars during the season. Both Subaru and Ford just rolled out a new car just recently to compete with the new Citroen.

I want a re-match in Tarmac mode!

that evo definitly wasnt on a tarmac set up and the driver wasnt driving it hard like tomi and them do it ive been to about 4 wrc championships seen em on tarmac and graval and the power and speed is almost terrifying just to watch and the sound of a wrc car isnt like the one in the vid its sound more like thunder rolling down a mountain lol with busrts of cannon shots every couple of seconds lol maybe its just me... wrc cars that are turbo all using a special anti lag motor set up who cares if u dont have 300 + hp if u have all the power all the time.... and i think the lancer is lighter then the s2000 (js and wrc setup i dont think stock tho)

but the amount of torque those things is incredible.
IIRC, WRC engines are regulated by the FIA to 300hp/300tq. I'm sure they have different cams with different profiles which alter the power and torque curves. I don't think their turbo engines are the most powerful around but of course w/ anti-lag turbos, lightwieght chassis, and modified AWD the cars are crazy fast.

max power doesn't mean a damn thing , they are limited but the powerband is what I was referring too.
