I would have liked to see the RE Amemiya FD go toe to toe with J's S2K. The Route KS NSX's lack of grip really held up the S2K. This episode is featured on the BMI Hot Version:Battles At 10,000 RPM. This 2nd one after the "Roaring VTEC" one.
If you watch the entire episode...
1. Its a 05 spec WRC car which makes it quite old.
2. Yes, the car was set for gravel with yokohama gravel tires.
3. The driver of the WRC commented that they will be back again in a tarmac format for a re-match.

there is a really funny section at the end of the dvd of the Rally Driver and Tsuchiya stalling the car over and over trying to take off slowly
I really wonder why they brought the car setup for gravel??? I guess it was a good experiment, I wouldn't be suprised if that WRC car was faster just with proper tires, even with the same suspension settings, the balance would be way way off, but the amount of torque those things is incredible.
and the driving style of all the rally drivers that challenge the touge cars really doesn't fit this course, it works well in many Tarmac situations with changing grip levels, but with a solid grip level on such a short course, a lot of time is lost throwing the car around like that. although I'm sure it has a lot to do with the gravel tires. I think even the Seeker EG6 could take it to the 05 car on that course.
a WRC car properly setup up for the conditions of Gunsai should honestly be able to challenge anything.
and. . . I bet that S2000 is 05 as well
, and it is newer then it is basically identical to the 05 model anyway

I would love to see that as well! Its always been my opinion that the J's S2K is faster and better tuned than the r1 version amuse s2k. it handled better on the video, but they deem it to be a tie between the 2 tuners. I wonder how it would turn out if the race against the amemiya fd was in dry conditions.
it does suck that the Amuse R1 is just completely absent at this point????!?!??! **** the GT1 that is not a proper Touge Car at all, why don't they actually take that too the Time Attacks like it should be? but I guess Amuse kind of stays out of that, there GTR should be at the freaking top of the charts but it is just not in any of those events.

Now put them on a stage in Wales and see which fish performs better out of water.
