Default JPM door pull straps

I recently redid a local's door panels. While talking about what options he wanted, he brought up the Porsche RS. The concept in the RS was that the car is pretty much stripped down and the door handles were replaced with neat little leather straps to pull the door closed. So, since I had the chance to play around with the panel for a while, I came up with these.

They close really nicely and they free up so much more room on the door panel. I guess the look is give or take with most people. The functionality though is not what I was expecting. You have more room to rest your arm and the window and mirror controls are easier to get to.

What do you guys think?

That's actually pretty trick. I think I would want them a little longer, but they don't look bad at all IMO.
