Just in... my
red AEM CAI!
Going into the car tonight although AEM did make the mistake of putting in the wrong hose, a 3/8" instead of a 5/16". But other than that, looks nice..

jcasta,
This is a cold air intake from AEM. This mod is designed to free up the breathing of the car. All the factory intake parts are removed and this straight pipe with a low restriction filter is installed in its place. This intake specifically is quite excellent. The quality is A1 and the design is absolutely perfect. The benefit to this mod, aside from the tremendous and amazing sound that it creates, is a large bump in horsepower. I am not exactly sure on this particular one, but I believe it is a 10hp+ jump.
So now you know. Try picking up a "Sport Compact Car" in the magazine section at B&N. They have great coverage of every aspect of moding imports.
