Just in... my
$210 is good, it's better than what I paid with shipping. I have no idea as to how much they normally go for as it just came out. Not too many retailers carry it just yet so I have no base msrp. Your guess is as good as mine..
i'm liking it... i'm just debating if i could fill that empty area with something.. question??? What about when it rains?.. do you need to bring the intake up or get that AEM water diffuser thing? thanks.
Haha, I see you're in Cali too so I really wouldn't worry too much about water injestion. I also had a CAI in my Si and had no problems whatsoever.
To put it bluntly, anyone who purchases the bypass valve is a fool. Unless you drive your car INTO a pool, you won't hydrolock.
With the long piping for the S2k, water won't even make it up to the throttlebody anyhow, the chances were much higher on my Si and I drove through many deep puddles with no issue.
If you do drive in water that deep, you will end up cracking the block due to the cold water hitting the motor before any of it is injested by your intake, that and your electrical system will be shot. So my advice, don't drive through swimming pools or floods..

Just as a note, mine came with everything correctly.
Also, I did remove my bypass valve and installed the regular coupling. Douglas is right, I don't think you'll need the bypass valve here in California, plus you can't place it on the same axis as the throttlebody like AEM suggests.

I got my CAI on monday, and I installed it on tuesday with DJ QUBE, 4ig, and some other people. It was such a PIA, major Pain. The result was worth it. The package came with wrong tubes and I guess some missing parts, oh well, Ben from bulletproof said my replacements should be on the way, so I'll just change it after I recieve it. I got a blue one, DJ QUbe took pictures, so if you guys want I can post up the pics.
