I think the sound of the AEM CAI in my Si was a bit deeper than this one but it is LOUD!

It does give a nice deeper tone under WOT below VTEC but once it hits 6k.... it simply screeeeeaaams! Absolutely amazing, car sounds so angry, people change lanes to move out of my way..

And man, surprisingly, it has some added low end pull. I don't have to push down on the gas pedal as much to get the car up to speed. Could be just my imagination but it sure feels a bit faster than it was stock.

AND thank you Ben over at Bulletproof, I got the intake within 2 days of my order being placed.

were there any problems during the install?
Did you have to modify anything underneath the car for the piping to fit?
Did you have to take the bumper off?

It looks really good. I'll probably order mine soon.

The install was fairly easy, just time consuming. You don't have to remove the bumper but much time is saved if you do so I did.

And you do have to cut some of the plastic off from the splashguard to fit the bottom piping, just look at some of Phantum's pictures and you'll have a good example of what needs to be done.

I realize it's all about adding performance, but the AEM intake makes the engine bay look so empty.

Haha, tell me about it.. don't worry, I will be installing a Greddy oil catch can with the $100 gift certificate I won at the SEMA show last year, it should add a little to the engine bay.

i don't know how to contact him. I'm just curious what a good price is and how much they normally go for. I can get one for $210 shipped, is that good?
