Thanks, bro.

By the way: UPDATE!!!!

First amp is installed.
Again, we ripped off the doorpanels to install the cables.

of course, we added everything to the oem harness:

again the completed harness

At the same time, we needed to figure out how to put the Genesis amp underneath the passenger seat. Allthough they are extremely flat and compact, the creased floor upset our plans.:-/

Even after removing all unnecessary decoration (see below) it only fitted hardly.

So we decided to cut the carpet and wrap the piece into another position. Furthermore we "optimized" the underside of the seat...
The speaker cables were prepared and placed in position. Ready to be connected to the amp.
Again, the clock showed 3am. :e

Now let's come to the longest night, so far.
Stripped again, removed passenger seat, headunit, panels (can do that blindfolded at the meanwile ....)

Our pensum for this eve: Wiring the amp and hide it underneath the passenger seat, install battery terminals and fuse-hub, RCA-, Power- and Grounding cables. Hella lot of work...

The components:

Strong enough:

Snake-Skin for the power cables.:-)

The Genesis Profile 4 amp

Removed the decorative ring since it disturbed the slider

Again, the Hertz speakers needed to be removed from their custom housings, now the "real" cables wanted to be plugged in.

Putting in the tiny, delicate snakeskin-wrapped Boa-Constrictor

"Regarding the fuse hub, we'll try to find an invisible place under the dashboard"...
HAHA, easier said than done...

A problem shared is a problem halved.
looks comfortable but, believe me, it isn't :-/

Done:

Close to 3am the whole car still looked like a ruin...
So we decided to get some whoppers before BurgerKing closed.
It was still so much to do, that I forgot to snap some pix of how the work looks finished, I'll promise to catch up on this!

By the way, we finished that milestone at 7.15am. Good thing is that I live only one minute away from the working place. So I had enough time to get a shower and dress for the office where I fought the tiredness starting 8am over the entire day.

But it was worthwhile.

to be continued!

L-X, look into a Samco intake elbow. I think it would work well (look good) with what you have intake wise.

Planning to get the S2X-CF elbow for the OEM Airbox to complete the look.
