It actually looks just like the OEM top. Some socal guys are wrapping there OEM hardtops with 1x1 weave and it looks just like this. One just has a more wet look. Thats always an option if you want this look and not the price.

that mooncraft roof and rear trunk pic kinda makes me wonder. why didnt they just take out the rear trunk for weight savings. especially on a race prepped car

Because in Super Taikyu, the S2000 has to meet a minimum weight requirement. I believe that race stripped, teams still ahd to run ballasts to meet their requirements. Just like F1 and many other race series, it's not a complete free for all.

you gotta be joking with the Rota part
Actually....I was being serious. If Spoon sells a set of their SWs for $1500 and Rota sells the knock-off sets for $700, that is 50% difference. So, if Spoon's Mooncraft cost $6500, then Rota would have no problem in maunufacturing and selling them for $3000. Since Rota R&D facility is in the Philipines, getting cheap labor and raw materials should be no problem. Rota has scored big with knock-off jdm wheels, imagine how big they'll get if they start knocking-offs rare jdm aero parts.

Think of this, 5 out of 10 tuned cars out there is probably riding on Rota's right now. That is a huge fan-base!

what planet are you from?? ROTA IS CHEAP GARBAGE...name me 1 JDM tuner that uses Rota rims on their cars. nobody will EVER make a copy of this hardtop...not only is the demand low since nobody can afford it, but it's not really street legal, not to mention you need a roll cage just to install it, so it'll NEVER happen. start saving up $8K and you can get 1 are you getting Rota rims also for your S2K??? 5 out of 10 "tuned" cars...tuned by who, APC, Pep Boys and Auto Barn?? and you can get a set of new Rotas for $400 easy, not to mention 16" Spoon rims go for close to $2000/set

He's a noob. Give him some slack. Most noobs dont know right from wrong with this car. Its common place Fizz. You should know that by now .. Simple fact is civic/integra habits dont work with the S2000. Two different animals..
