Mugen is great for looks and aerodynamics, but makes your cabin noisy. Air will leak at higher speeds which can be annoying on long drives.

OEM HT has working window defroster if that's an issue (Mugen doesn't). Tight seal on everything, keeps car even quieter than just the softtop up.

I have both, but I use the Mugen primarily for the track only

OEM, i love mine!

 

i like the OEM but im biased.... the oem weighs 44lbs, im pretty sure the FRP mugen weighs the same...

 

IMO, the only thing i would kill for that mugen makes is the FRP or CF hardtop, oem is cool, but it just lacks the more aggressive lines the mugen has, for hardtops im a Mugen Man. lol

 

Ronnie, you already got the wheels... so go with the mugen ht... then get the lip... i can get you a mugen ht... just let me know.

yeah but your is cf like mine so i know for sure were a bit biased. Get the mugen, its very nice and i think the lines of the top are extremely perfect in every aspect.
You cant go wrong though either way but i would choose the moogen 1.
