even with all the packaging how can it weigh 45 pounds.? unless you put a 25 lb weight in there it's gotta be impossible.
i'd say after weighing the box with all the tape, cardboard, bubble or peanuts, lip and screws. still can't weigh 45 pounds

- NO, the point of putting 45lbs is because thats how an OVERSIZED box is 'labled' with the shipping company...

It's called the "dim" weight, as in dimensions. You take the volume of the box (LxWxH) and divide by 250. That is the dim weight. It is used for oversized packages so shipping companies can rape you on charges.

And why is this thread under "the gallery?"
