considering Rays Engineering makes wheels for the Williams F1 team, and Volks are among the strongest and lightest forged wheels you can get on the market

Thats crazy tint you got on the 997. Is it a 2+2?
too bright here in FL!!! plus without tint everyone wants to talk to you when top down at a light.lol

all carrera's are 2+2 i just have the wind deflector in... it comes out and stores in the frunk to add the +2.. (midgets and sawwed in half hookers are about all that fits)

LOL @ the Volk argument.

A few years ago I remember bringing up TEs on an E36 on DTMPower. Everyone bashed and said it had to be BBS, Hamann, Reiger, ACS, etc. Japanese wheels don't belong on a BMW... bladdy ****ing blah.

Fast forward a couple years and the E46 guys catch on to concave TEs, RE30s, etc... then the Porsche guys, and now its pretty much fair game for anyone. Its funny how such a 'conservative' group is now running gold or even colored wheels - never would have seen that 5 years ago.

Now all the Japanese companies are pushing hardcore for the Euro scene offering wheels like Volks FM (Mercedes AMG target) -

Work's Euroline..

etc. Hell, there was even a Murcielago on VS-XXs on Ebay a couple weeks ago. Made me proud.

As for the OPs Porsche - its looks nice but no where near what I was expecting from a wheel importer. Wheres the concave? The uniqueness? IMO its boring. Great car though!

You need to get some of these 19" Work Brombacher. This is on a narrow body 997 with GT3 bumpers.

This 997 (so damn sexy) has made me determine to have one as my next car.
