I use Serato, and real vinyl... Scratching with Serato is just like real vinyl..Exactly.
Serato is by far seperior to all the other Digital solutions.Never forget the real vinyl... Your not behind. 1210's and the 56 are still top notch!
Damm, I really want to get it now. Thanks for the info scotty b.

I'm glad my mixer is still good to go. I have an 06-Pro, I just need another turntable. Any suggestions? [/QUOTE]
Stick with the 1210M5G's IF my 1200's ever break, I'm going with the 1210's

I kinda want to buy the Rane mixer with Serato built in so you don't have to mess with all the RCA's

But Serato is the best thing that's happend to DJ'ing since the introduction of the Technics SL1200's

Stick with 1200's. All the other tables are nice, but the 12 is still the ind standard.
The 57SL is real nice. It is a tie between the 57SL w/ a EFX-1000 unit, and the Pioneer 909 mixer. I love my 909. I think I am going to pick up a 57SL soon too.

Mik3- I highly recommend going to www.scratchlive.net/forums and registering. Once you are registered you can download the latest version w/o purchasing the SL1 interface...... You can start organizing all your music man. It will save a lot time if you do it now. Trust me. You can also D/L a program like Audacity, and hook your TT's to the line in of your computer... and start rippin ya Wax!!!

wow, I used to dj years ago, but never got into scratching. just tried to do good beat matching, and keep the speakers bangin. If I ever got back into it, i would want cd turntables, which you can do just about the same sh!t as vinyl.

for those of you who know who dj shadow is, he scratched dvds in concert a few years back. how dope is that?

CDJ's...... WACK!!!!! J/p man. To each their own. But you have way more control with vinyl. Video is about to be added to SSL with the next update...

I am not into it, but it is a big deal right now.

I love Reason for producing some fat beats. It is so easy to use for beginners but it still has hella depth in its features.

Let's here those beats Veilside
