I test fitted my airwalker sides today with my OEM front lip(AP2) and quickly realized that I need a lower front bumper. Does the Mugen lip sit lower then the OEM lip? I need to do something to the front.

i believe the stock lip is about an inch lower, and so is the mugen.

 

the stock lip is more like .5 inches lower whereas the mugen is 1-1.5 inches lower i think

 

dam! you sure. i remember reading on hardtop guy i think that the factory lip dropped the front end about 1 inch. i'll go check it again, it's been a while since.

 

I was test fitting my mugen lip and that thing sits real low I would guess the 1-1.5 is about right especially at the sides

 

I currently have the stock lip, I think .5-1" sounds about right. Can anyone verify the Mugen does sit lower? If it does, that'd go great with the low airwalker sides!

mugen lip is definitely lower than the oem lip. my friend has had both the j's type s front bumper and the mugen front lip, and tells me the mugen sits much lower. good luck

 

Will the mugen lip fit on an ap1? I dont see why it wouldnt... just figured id ask to see if anyone else has done it...

 

mugen sits at the bottom of the pinch welds on the car. oem sits at the bottom of the body.

 

doesn't the mugen lip have more functuality than the stock?
