Don't forget, OP called for pics of Mugen Lip on an AP1 and the piece was designed solely for the AP2. Are you saying that the Mugen lip isn't good on the AP2? Sure it looks a hot mess on AP1, but installed on the AP2 it is amazing. I prefer OEM, but I find the look to be smooth when pulled off right.

^^ hard to tell. seemslike its more of a custom setup with some similar flares on the sides....

either way, it's definitely a doable fabrication.. as far is it looking good or bad, i am neutral. it probably looks better on the ap2 front but i won't completely rule it out on an ap1 untill i see an actual fitted and mounted one.

my theory on this kind of thing is: if you think it's something you want to do and you will be happy with it, then go for it! it's the little things that make a car stand out. some people won't like it because it "isn't made for the ap1" but as it is mostly an aesthetic mod, appearance is all subjective.

i don't think it would look too bad.

 

I was gonna also make this lip for AP1's, because a customer requested it, but it reaaally didn't look right IMO. Didn't want to modify, and make a mold and sell none

Looks aweseom on AP2 like it was inteded, and is quite functional.
