Default Mugen quality?

I'm a big proponent of authentic parts so i wanted to put show you all some pictures of the Mugen SS front bumper quality and attention to detail. In no way do i want this to turn into an authentic vs. fake debate. If it does, i will either have a mod clean the thread up or lock/delete the entire thread.

Anyway, the bumper is not cheap, but it comes with a lot of supporting parts that are all very high quality. I rarely see people post up things like this--there were many parts that i didn't even know came with the bumper--so hopefully you all will enjoy

The bumper itself is very nice carbon, all holes drilled precisely, fits perfectly and above all, SUPER light:

Comes with all of this hardware (the black pieces are OEM parts with flanges welded on):

A VERY nice injection molded plastic under panel is included as well as a CF air dam (replaces the front plastics that sit in front of the radiator and direct air). The metal strip hanging down has two threaded holes on the bottom which mount to the bumper:

The bumper itself is SUPER solidly mounted. It uses the 5 OE mounting locations on the top of the bumper, the OE fender well mounts (1 on each side), the two screws that mount through the center/bottom of the bumper to the metal strip hanging off of the crash beam AND 8 (yes 8) plastic clips on the bottom. The bumper does not jiggle at all. It's a great quality piece and i hope my pictures convey that!

Happy tuning!

that under tray is the whole reason I started wanting the SS front end. I hated the fact I had a black car when I learned it and wished soooo bad for a white one so the mouth could be shown off more ,....but then I started to not care, I just wanted that quality

I would love to see this compared to the Mugen half-bumper for the AP1. That piece has a lot of the same features, while fitting over an OEM bumper. Both bumpers are super high-quality, though. Thank you for illustrating what those who buy Mugen have known for years.

Thank you for posting this. I never knew there was this much to the bumper. Pretty impressive and well worth the money!

Well said . I was also surprised to see other parts besides the bumper. I cant see myself parting with my kit anytime soon.
