Default My 2.5L S2000

Well, its about time I posted some new pictures of my car. Its been out of the game for about 3 months during the entire process for the new motor. I don't know how much more I want to do with the car now. I really like the way it is and the way it still looks "fairly" stock. All the pictures taken on the street were taken by a friend, he got a pretty good one of me working on the valve cover . Basic story is that it developed a vavle cover leak after ~ 700 miles so I was just trying to see if I could fix it. And I mostly did.

The motor is running strong, and I love it, it really is everything I wanted the car to be. It is making more power then what was originally anticipated, and while the dyno might be reading a little high, it is higher then anticipated regardless. I really have no complaints with this motor. Already about 1200 miles on it.

Future mods that I'd like: 17" CE28's, Bilstien PSS9's, and some cams if they can ever make power.

I had the trunk packed really tight, it didn't want to close, thought you guys might like this one if you have been in a similar situation. My friend caught the moment just right

And Lastly

Ah, just how I like it. Clean and simple. Congrats.

p.s. I really love your smoked turn signals. As a matter of fact, the car has an overall very "smoky" look to it. Love it.

Its making 200ft/lbs. Your probably reading the axis on the right for hp instead of the one on the left fot tq.

I aspire to have those kind of numbers on my S one day, all-motor baby

Are you any worried about passing emissions/smog here in CA? It's pretty much the only thing that concerns me about going stroker.

i missed the original thread, but what all was involved in the build?

bored? stroked? head done?what is your rod/stroke ratio? compression ratio? revs? stock TB/IM?

im curious because we have guys with semi-built k24's running around 270ish fwhp on dynojet. just wondering how your specs would compare to those builds.

also, i would think with the increased displacement, cams would absolutely help if they got the profile right. in fact, i would think they would be necessary to get the full potential of the displacement.

thanks and congrats
