i missed the original thread, but what all was involved in the build?
bored? stroked? head done?what is your rod/stroke ratio? compression ratio? revs? stock TB/IM?
im curious because we have guys with semi-built k24's running around 270ish fwhp on dynojet. just wondering how your specs would compare to those builds.
also, i would think with the increased displacement, cams would absolutely help if they got the profile right. in fact, i would think they would be necessary to get the full potential of the displacement.
thanks and congrats

Inline Pro knows the rod ratio
Compression on my setup is 11.5:1
Only reving it to 8500rpm as you can see the power drops off substantially by 8000 so there is no reason to go further. Yet.
It is a custom billet/forged crankshaft sourced by Inline Pro, as well as billet/forged rods, CP pistons, closed deck ductile iron sleeves...you could check it out here: http://www.inlinepro.com/s2k.html
And yes, stock TB and IM. Autowave mentioned also that the engine is loosing 1" of vacuum in the high RPM's, so a TB would probably be a good help. As would a larger plenum.
And yes again, cams would really open this motor up you can see it just looking at the graph. The engine also has the potenial to rev to 9000 and beyond. FF2Skip has been reving his a little past 9000 on the track, and Ya allowed his to hit 9500. So if cams allowed to it keep making power to 9000, it would really scream. Even if it just made the torque curve more flat in VTEC, which is kicking on at ~ 4700.
There isn't any real headwork done. It is the stock head and stock valves but with a valve job obviously for the new motor. The springs and retainers are Ti. The only power adding mods done to the car are: IP 2.5L, EMS, K&N drop in, and T1R testpipe. Everything else is stock.
Kenstyle: Thanks
and no this isn't CARB legal
As for the OEM lip...I've though about it, but what I want more is the Amuse bumper, or even AP2The insulation under the hood...took that out quite a while ago because some of it was falling off and looked horrible, I've considered getting it again, but there are no illeffects from not having it.
Everybody else, thanks for the nice comments

Nice numbers
$$$ for stroker project?
$$$ for stroker project?
honestly it depends of if you skimp out or if you just get everything that you should get. I went for everything I should, and it was pricey.
