Default My Bosses New Car

As many of you know, I work as an Account Executive selling booth space for Convexx. We manage all of SEMA's tradeshows and my boss has been managing it for over 30 years. My boss just purchased a car that was at this past SEMA Show. It is a 1932 Ford Roadster that was built from the ground up this past year using parts that have been awarded SEMA New Product awards to commemorate the 40th year of the SEMA Show. This is the only car that has ever been commissioned by SEMA as a "SEMA" vehicle.

Here is a pic of the car:

The car was in the Ford booth and at all of the SEMA receptions. It basically reflects the past 40 years of SEMA and the best products that have come out since the show began.

My car is boring. Nobody wants to see that!

From SEMA's website:

The SEMA Deuce celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the SEMA Show and 40 years of new product innovation and excellence. Designed by Eric Brockmeyer, the Deuce is constructed entirely from parts manufactured by SEMA members that have received SEMA or SEMA Council New Product Awards, or special recognition from SEMA or a SEMA Council. It is the ultimate tribute to the aftermarket, and to the dedication of our fellow members to improving their products and services. The SEMA Deuce will be featured at the New Products Breakfast Tuesday morning and in the Grand Lobby during Show hours.

The SEMA Deuce project was managed and assembled by Hot Rods & Horsepower, and came together through the support of:

Edelbrock
Flaming River
Zoops
Optima Batteries
Coker Tire
Bob Drake
Currie Rears
Lokar
QA1 Motor Sports
Magna Flow
Spectre Performance
DuPont Hot Hues
Advanced Plating

i have always wanted a 32 ford. but not one that looks too nice to have fun in. i have plans to build one out of my garage on a really shitty budget. with a paint job that is basically 30 cans of matte black spray paint from autozone. and a monster of an engine that i built myself. a chevy motor. not sure if i would wanna do carbs or go new school with fuel inection.
this all would be years from now. not anytime soon.
