Default My Dead S2k :(

Well, I saw th ered s2k the got flipped or rolled, so I posted mine so maybe he wouldn't feel bad either. I just picked mine up almost 4 weeks ago. 2003 Suzuka Blue s2k with only 25k miles on it for $20k. I was going northbound on I-95 in VA, rain had been off and on. The roads were dry then I came up to where it looked like it had poured. I switched to the left lane (to get out from behind someone spraying water all over me), going 65mph (the speed limit), hit a huge body of standing water. Hydroplaned car spun to the left, hit nose first in the ditch and flipped over. They say I am lucky, but I posted in the other thread. Thank god for honda engineers and God.

Yup the whole car is stock. Not sure if they were replaced or whatever, they passed inspection back in march. That's what the prior owner said. The state trooper said one of my rear tires in the back was losing tread, but just in the middle. I also got a ticket, Driving too fast for conditions. He said he will be in court and try to get it reduced to Improper Driving.

Glad that you are safe it could have been much worse. Most tires are designed for contact in the middle in wet driving conditions, so if you were losing tread in the middle of the tire it can make for bad situations.

Definitely want another s2k. Not scared to hop back in one. I loved that car, I treated it like a baby for roughly the 3-4 weeks I had it.

nsxnext.. I saw your video on clubrsx the other day. I was the one I said I would look out for you guys in Newport News. Well, hopefully I'll have another s2k and we can roll out.

Well I was born in VA and I spent an entire summer going from southern NC to VA Beach every weekend, and the troopers are everywhere....they're all dicks and they give you tickets if you breath too hard....sorry to hear about your car, but you should not have gotten a ticket.
