Gorgeous! I saw these in person a two weeks ago on Sherwin's car and they looked great! Sherwin, chime in here buddy but I think you mentioned that a rear kit is in the works too? I'm definitely interested in a GB.

Duc, have you bedded the brakes fully and have you tried any measurements on the braking distances? Are the pads also bigger than stock too? Sorry for all the questions but they really look great and are a wise investment.

 

I just got them and haven't done any real tests yet, but all I know is that I was able to stop in time while my buddy behind me had to go around to avoid rearending me. Yes, pads are bigger and the real payoff also is the weight savings.

sweet ..... like how the caliper fit perfectly between the spokes! and no spacers???

i had to put in 1/4" spacers to fit the Volks with Spoon calipers. now my front tires rub when i turn the wheel and go over a dip.

I'm still in Fresburg, unfortunately, but we still need to get together soon. I have to see those brakes in person. Are there any get together's planned? I say the S2KSocal died so I look here for get togethers and drives. I am a little booked until Mid- March.

 

can you use OEM pads with this setup...if not...how much do pads cost for these bad boys...and how long do they last compared to OEM pads...

 

They come with pads but to answer your question as to how long they last is a difficult one. It all depends on your driving habit.
