mmm.. the 04 Java Black Pearl, my favorite color for the STi. It's too bad they discontinued this color after the first year. I see that it comes with SSR's, exhaust, FMIC, greddy lip, chargespeed skirts, what else?

I don't see how purchasing a replacement car of close to, or equal value can assist you in purchasing a home, but as long as youre happy.

Lookin' good.

I have to be honest, I like that STI better than an M3.

Nice Sti!

Its amazing you got that much money out of your mods. $20K is quite a bit.
I had over $35k in mods, so getting $20k isn't that great.

Thanks to all for the nice comments. I was planning on getting an 04+ M3 and spending $45k on it. By spending the $15k less, it allowed me to have money to put down on the condo.

I chose an already modded car because I have to have mods and mods depreciate as indicated above. These mods have already depreciated since they were sold with the car. I won't be doing too many mods other than a new front lip and possibly a few other little things. It will keep me away from spending all of my money on mods and saving for the condo. I want to have enough to put down and enough to cover a year of my part of the rent.

I've been to the KTR shop for the Audi NE event. It's an awesome facility!

so you didnt decide to get the G35? sti still nice. whats the value on the condo? good choice

condo > fixed up cars (if you have to choose).

did you buy the sti new or used? love the rims on it.

i might be selling my s2k too to buy a house and rent out my current condo. hopefully you will join the home owners world. its fun but a pain at times.

s2k was mad hot. dont fall into the sti craze and boost the hell out of your motor. every single one of my buddies is all about getting over 500 hp. its cool but gets old. save for your condo.

Thanks for the advice. My Mom owns the condo that I am buying and is giving me a great deal that I cant pass up. She bought it from my sister for $200k when it was worth $215. She put $40k down. Im going to give her $20k and she is going to give me the other $20k that she put down to help me out. The condo is worth about $250k now, so I have $70k in equity basically.
