My New Silver/Red S2000
Hello Everyone,
Let me start by saying that I'm a brand new S2K owner and forum member.
This is my first post but it won't be the last. I can't thank you enough for the information you've provided me. It made an easy decision that much easier, despite the insurance bill. The only hard part is the burn-in. I'm half way there and it's killing me. My goal is to V-Tech by Saturday night (exactly one week after purchase)!
Here's my new baby. Enjoy, and is the red interior really that bad? I feel like I'm stepping in a F1 car evertime I get behind the wheel. The red only enhances the experience.

Conglratulations on the new car. Looks fantastic. Love the red interior.
I'm actually awaiting delivery here in Australia of a 2002 silver/red. I ordered the car 6 weeks ago and was told I would get the car in Feb. I've now been told by the dealer that Honda Australia wants the car for the Melbourne motor show which means I won't get it until late march early april. After seeing the pics of your car I don't think I have enough patience to wait that long......
Dammit I really want my car......

01s2k, the floor mats are red. The tweeters and door handles have chrome painted plastic rings around them. It's a nice touch that helps to break-up the sea of red. For a better look, I'll post some beach side top-down pictures when I take the windows down (tint job late yesterday).
PB02, I can't believe Honda is making you wait for your Silver/Red so they can use it in an auto show! Please, on behalf of all forum members, demand the following:
1) Cash payment for your car's time (it's just a baby, it should by on the road learning how to eat Boxters & Roadsters)
2) Counseling (complimentary Ferrari rental until delivery)
3) An all expense paid vacation to visit your car (check mileage) in the Melbourn show. Don't forget to take your camera (wallpaper image quality) for car show girl pictures, preferably on top of or next to your S2000. Remember, life's special little moments are better when you can share them. As an added bonus, I could tell everyone here in Florida, it's my car!!!
