do whatever it takes to legally protect yourself. if it means filing for a theft or a lawsuit, do it. he's the one that put you in a bad spot, make him take the heat for it. he has to accept that. imagine if he hurt someone with your car.

BTW, i only let friends who own an S2k or a pricier car drive mine. if they crash it, i get their car till mine gets fixed/replaced.
