The GPW driver is using a driving posture that gives more leverage and control over the steering. It's not uncommon to see autocrossers sitting very upright and close to the wheel. I would if I had the headroom.

Actually my SW20 is faster on an autox than my AW11. It handles so much better. Track is a different story though. I'm ready for something faster.

I like this one for sentimental reasons. Years ago the three of us used to meet at this McDonald's for breakfast before heading out to the autocross. Back then we each had old school 4AGE-powered Toyotas. Now it's just like old times, but with faster machinery. :-)
