I know some of you hate GT wings, but it's my car and I like 'em, so I've got no excuses! In the wing's defense, notice that the wing isn't hideously wider than the rear of the car itself...which I think is why some GT wings don't look good on the S2000.
Well, here she is!

Wheels are Volk GT-C 18x7 and 18x8. Falken GR-B 215/40-18 and 245/35-18. Fiber Images Carbon Fiber hood, R1 aluminum wing, KG/MM DR21 Race springs, J's N1 single exhaust.
Future plans include a Supercharger of some type, J's 4.44 final gear, VAFC, maybe the C-West front fascia, Sparco race seats with 5 point harnesses. Only when I get some extra cash though!!
Hope you like!
Cheers,

Your car looks nice......except for the wing. Sorry, I just don't get those big airplane wings
Why not go for a Mugen wing or something understated of that nature? IMO the GT wings really mark an abrupt point on the otherwise beautiful lines of the s2000.

Thanks all for the compliments, and constructive criticism!
Let me try and answer all the questions and points...
1. Fiber images hood. I was really skeptical about getting this hood as I'd heard some horror stories. But all I can say is...WOW! I was so surprised by the quality. It fits perfectly and all panel gaps are great. Bolted right up. I bought mine used for $300 shipped so it was a good deal IMHO. The rear corners had some little chips on them which I fixed up with some black epoxy. At speeds over 90, you can see the hood flexing somewhat due to the air, and I am going to make sure the hood doesn't fly up (and me get a facefull of carbon fiber and glass
) with some Sparco hood pins. I know the hood is very strong, but it likely doesn't have the rigidity in the structural support due to the spars being fiberglasss and not aluminum. Onceagain, not intending on sounding cheap....I was going to get the J's hood, but liked the fact that I saved $700. The vents would havebeen nice, but I can do without them.
2. R1 Wing...not sure if it's Hiper Industries, but the quality of it is actually very good. It fits perfectly. As I love J's, I considered getting the J's wing, but just didn't have $500 to spend! The wing has helped my car. The rear end feels more stable now...where I used to get trailing throttle oversteer in corners, now it is practically removed. I like the improvement. I did consider the aesthetics. I've looked at my car with the wing on time and time over and believe it or not, (as carzy as it seems) I've TRIED to hate what I did!!
But, there really isn't anything about it that I don't like. In all honesty, IMHO it actually balances out my car. And I am going to be doing a lot more track time this year so it will help there as well. Everybody that has seen it has given me the thumbs up....not one neg comment so far. So in summation, I am happy with it!
3. The front springs are installed correctly when they where stock and you do have a larger gap in the front than the rear. I modded mine by cutting off the bottom-most coil off the front springs. Then I preloaded them correctly. Ride quality and handling is great with the change!. I just modded the springs this week, but I've had them for about 8 months.
4. Rims: I got them from www.wheeloptions.com in California for approx: $2480 with wheels, tires, lugnuts and shipping. Please contact Vince and tell him that Simon Richards sent you.
5. Mugen wing. I considered it and like it, but didn't want to spend the money, honestly. I would prefer to spend the money on a Supercharger!
6. I definitely think that the stock S2000 is fast enough for a GT wing! I mean, the car does mid 5's to 60 and high 13's on the quarter! Plus I have the JR Filter and J's Exhaust. It's pretty fast as it is and can definitely benefit from the wing! But I do intend on getting a Supercharger at some stage.
Cheers!
