I like the car, looks good, I bet with some extra power it will be amazing on the track, good luck with your continued success. I know you have a lot time, effort and $'s in this project and I know you are proud of your car! I would be as well.

I am pretty sure that when you started this post you were expecting some folks to express their negative opinions, I think all of us have come to realize that this is just a reality on this site as well as others. I too have read lots of negative comments about my modifications...but have never heard one in person. This just leads one to agree with some of the comments above about internet anonymity. I know for a fact that several people don't like some of the things that I have done to my car and they never express that in person. It is easy to sit at your computer and bash someone knowing that they live hundreds of miles away and will never meet you face to face. However, this does give you a very good look into their true personality. I am certainly probably one of the older guys on here and all of the opinions, suggestions and I would have done's remind me of my childhood when my Dad told me to take the playing card out of my bicycle wheels because that would harm the spokes.

Again, your car looks amazing and I hope you keep up the good work!

We dont care to hear it in the tone you deliver it. Tearing apart a car that isnt your own is retarded. If it's to the owners liking, then let it be. It's not your car, and you're not paying for it so stfu. I've seen a NUMBER of cars that I have strong opinions against on this forum for the most part I just laugh and leave the page. I know for a fact you've had a number of people call you out on this and I'm not sure why you (and other people who do the same shit) can't take a hint.

For the record, I'm a big fan of J's and Amuse widebody kits. I'm not fanboying squeegie because of high dollar parts.
Still flying that flag, eh? This is a forum, an open exchange of ideas. Most people don't like the fact that I run a replica hardtop, and it's been voiced before. However, one of the strongest proponents of this is a member on here with a high dollar build. Cue the nut-huggers who under any other circumstances would disagree, but because of the mob mentality here, well they don't. I may come across as blunt, maybe even a dick but that's how I am, all the time, everywhere. Some (including yourself) may see me this way and others may not, but I don't see myself as rude.

Continue your "one of us" spiel, Kevin. It will not change how I am, not on here, and not in real life. It's as I said on the other board (local), nothing about me is different off of the internet. However, I never once told you to stop talking. People are free to voice their opinions. As far as the post above, I'm not an e-bully. My opinion is voiced the same in real life as it is on here.

I swear this community has turned into a bunch of lemmings with a few outliers on each end.

Agree with black_EM1 and disagree with andrewhake.

The Science of Speed S2000 is a great example of a build done with every detailed considered. It demonstrates the difference between a car built with purpose versus one without.

I take all opinions negative or positive, as for the negaitves i just take into as constructive criticism... I build my car for my liking and not for others approvals, but i do see everyone's thought... This body kit is way over the top for many and even for me it was too, but i love it... It changed my entire perspective on my build..

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and opinions.. THere is still a lot more I am doing to the car and still need to lower it to fill the gap better... As i stated before... the car had this many stickers on it for SEMA... For those who don't know what SEMA is, its the biggest automotive trade show in the US and maybe even the world, I had a lot of companies approach me to represent and thats what I love to do. Support the industry in anyway I can, most of the stickers will be coming off but not all of them... Sponsors do have a requirement which I fully respect for their help in getting this build where it is...

Also.. the height is where it is because I just got it out of the body shop and had to make a drive to Vegas and back... I did not want to risk breaking, cracking or etc.. That will be getting fixed ASAP... As of right now, I am leaving the build the way it is... I have bigger priorities to focus on in my life and need to get it all secured and taken care of. Living in Irvine is not a cheap task to need to focus on me and the wife...

Once again... Thank you again everyone for the thoughts...

For those asking about the paint... It is not a basic GPW...
It is a custom 3 stage pearl frost white...
Frost White Coat and a Pearl Green Flake... If you are in SoCal, hopefully you will be able to see it then...

couldnt have said it any better SQUEEGIE!

Life is about yourself. take car of your self, do it just for yourself. take others people comments as just comments the good or the bad. at the end of the day it is YOUR car.

There are definitely pros and cons to everything and I have to state that I agree with black_EM1 as well as the members who oppose his methods of stating his opinions.

It is true that there are ways to better word things because everyone's build is to their own taste and liking - everyone has an ego in regards to their labor of love and we all love our cars. So, it is hard to take opinions from others of what looks good and what doesn't. I think it's great that we have members here who are standing up for other people's build whether they like it or not - that is my approach to things and I appreciate that other members do the same.

The nice thing about members like black_EM1 is that this "point out all the shit" approach will help people handle criticism - whether it is warrant or not we will all face criticism in life and we learn so much more about the people who calls out everyone on the pros and cons of their build. I know that when I post pictures of my car a lot of people will be posting things like "why aren't you tracking" , "why not add more power", etc and that is ok with me. I have a car that fits my needs - and that I love taking on spirited drives - not everyone have to track their car to be a car enthusiast who loves S2000s. And if someone want to knock another member because they don't track their car - that's their opinion.

There is something to be said about handling that kind of criticism - And all in all, I think squeegie took everything pretty damn well on a car that he obviously took the time and care out to build to his needs.

I'm looking forward to checking out your car at an upcoming meet bro.

I like your wide body. It's such a big costly step I do not know that I would ever do it. IMO I do think that when a car looks that agressive I personally would want enough power to back up the picture I was putting out there. The car looks like it has 500WHP and I personally would want to have that. BTW these days I try not to even comment on cars good or bad. On a different thread I commented how I did not understand why this certain build(I hate to even call it a build as it was just lowered, flared and painted)had so many positive comments. Well I got jumped on by like ten people calling me every dirty tuner slang word there is. So now I make it a habit of trying to keep my comments to myself but I do slip every now and again like now.

Alot of details that need ironing out, but I'm sure that will come in time. I definitely didn't have my Widebody setup perfect as soon as I got it. I had the opportunity to get it, so I got it, then worked in the details as time/money allowed.

Given that you drove it straight from the shop to SEMA, it's understandable that it's in the current state it is. I do look forward to seeing it "polished" in the future with some good fitting wheels/tires, and the height adjusted to something that works for you. It took me a year to figure out what height would be good for looks, while still being able to drive and track it.

Thanks..

Yeah the car still needs to go back for polishing.. havent had any time to drop it off yet....

Wheels and Tires are where I want them to be for now...
Running a 18x10.5 +15 with a 15mm spacer in the rear with a 295/30
and 18x10 +20 with a 275/35 up front... Height just needs to be corrected which ill be doing this week and should be set... I plan on dropping the car off next week for polishing adn removing all decals... and adding back on only main sponsors...
