I thought the cops in the States use Vipers at this time of the century ... Besides, it's not expensive anyway. Take away all the government redtape, I bet the car is dirt cheap. Like in Japan, there are R34 GTRs, FDRx-7s, NSXs which are common sight.

 

You are being sarcastic, right? Vipers!?!? hahaha... WAY too expensive. As you can see by this thread it's a pretty big deal to see municipalities buy a $23,000 camaro. The Camaro's are already controversial enough with people asking why the police need them.

Wasn't really being sarcastic ... But I have a gut feeling it costs less than that for them to get pursuit cars, besides Vipers sound more practical ... Just a low volume, then again it will be quite a waste of precious taxpayers dollars.
