Default need a good program

I need a very good, and very easy DV editing program. The one that i have with my comp is very difficult and i cant get words on the screen or anything need help please thanks

If you want something decent & cheap, try Pinnacle Studio, that's what I use. If you want really good & really expensive, try the Adobe software (I forget what it's called).

Thanks for the info i have a program that came with my sony VAIO but i cant figure out how to put words on the screen and its real hard to edit in music

Well, Pinnacle Studio is really easy to do titles & overlays and bg music, and some generic transitions between scenes. You can also make really nice DVDs w/ menus & stuff. And it costs less than $100.

Just download Windows Movie Maker from microsoft it sounds like this is probably the easy free fix you are looking for.

Otherwise drop some cash and pick up Vegas Video or Adobe Premiere but both of these packages have a learning curve.
