A few years ago some member here removed the blue burnt tips from his Amuse exhaust leaving just a pair of silver tips and canisters. Can someone help me dig up that thread? I've spent like a hour searching... it's out there...

 

I remember the thread. I think the owner just polished out the blue with fine grit sand paper and worked his way up to polishing compound.

 

I say just try sandpaper on one muffler/tip. If it doesn't work, then don't do the other one.
