Need some thought on keeping
Well bascially have a ton of parts waiting to go on the S for it's second summer
but I need some help cause I just don't know anymore lol. The parts are feels skirts and rear lip, amuse front lip (spugen's version) & Shuks w21 17inch rims. Well basically I just purchase a black OEM hardtop for my s2k which looks like this currently minus the rims (mine has the OEM rims and no tints. Tints will be done when spring comes and car comes out of storage.
Now my car will look like this minus the rims of course as well as the color plus mine has the OEM AP1 spoiler .

and here is a quick photoshop of that same car with a mugen hartop. I'm def feeling the mugen but the quailty of a the mugen top is whats scaring me. Defroster is useless too me since this is a weekend car and is garage kept so it never sees snow or rain.

So want do you all think?
Now my plans are to color match the top depending on money of course. Should I do that or keep it black? Or should I just go for a mugen hardtop which will make my S look like this. Again minus the rims and it will have amuse lip, feels skirts and rear lip and 17inch Shuks W21.

Also here are the pics of the 17 inch Shuks W21 rims on a NFR

and this is what the front will look like depending on if I do the EK fogs setup. Have a OEM set sitting in my closet as we speak just not sure if I still want to do it. If I do decide to go through with the EK's the bezels will be color matched to the car and the fogs are the clear ones not jdm yellow as seem in this pic.

So come on guys and throw me some opinions into this matter before my brain explodes and I just decide to drive my s2k into a wall
. Thanks.

I would stay with the setup right now as far as the top goes. It looks good. However I would get the wheels coated black so it would go with the black red theme. Aslo if you are going to put the fogs in, just take your time cutting out the fog light hole because I've seen it cut horribly wrong. other than that it'll look good also. just my 2cents...
Lol, why not post a pic of your own car rather than using 4 different ones. do what you think looks the best... I know personally on my NFR, I'm going to go with Mugen once I decide on a good time to buy a hardtop, as for the wheels, and I don't really like the design of the Skunk wheels that you like either
I have always preferred the look of the Mugen hardtop over the OEM hardtop, but if the car is mostly stock then I will say that OEM will look better. If you have a kit on the car, then I would go with a Mugen HT.

... I was thinking the same thing. It would be a lot easier to make suggestions if I was looking at your exact setup instead of trying to change the wheels/lips/color of the car in my head.

I only like the Mugen on certain cars...I loved it on XA's car and I think it looks great on the NFR up there...but I would agree with what most people say that if it's primarily stock, you should go with OEM. I personally think that NFR looks amazing with an OEM hardtop
