Pressure the dealership. Try and find someone somewhere, maybe a local paper, better business bureau, etc. who would run a story about how this dealership trashed your car taking it out for a drive in crappy weather. How they're trying to fix it cheap and give you salvage title car, and how they tried to pin the blame on you, etc.

PRESSURE. The dealership would rather throw money at you than have their name smeared among the public, which is full of potential customers. And let them know you're gonna pass out flyers letting people know what the dealership did, etc. . . . scare tactics work in these cases. Hell, bring in a few flyers you've already made . . .
The Blogger above did just that. The stone walled him until they found his blog. Once they saw it, they got moving to make him happy. Most car dealers have yet to figure out what kind of public pressure the web can present.

[QUOTE=JonBoy,Jan 23 2008, 10:10 AM] The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pictures show the rocker panel and the underlying frame all bent.

Thats the only way to deal with it nowadays since everyone doesn't take responsibility for their screw ups!

If you sue, no one will know about it but the lawyers. Blog it. I am telling you. Thjat + lawyers will pay off sooner than you think. Bad press is not what the dealer wants. They just don't want to pay for it, but as soon as you start to cost them money (bad press) they will pay to shut you up.

You are a fool if you don't start one today. And then hire a lawyer.

Nick, if you need a lawyer...CALL ME! The one I used against this same dealership is the same one that was used in 14 other cases against the them.

...and yes, 'Investigaton 5' (local NBC investigative reports) was called in to do a report about them.

Luder94, I sent a text to Nick and let him know you have a lawyer lined up.

If they knew you had summer tires with low tread then they should have never drove it in those conditions in the first place.
