by shaving the edges i mean when you take a stock 04 bumper and mount the 04 front lip the lip comes out as in not inline with the edge of the bumper, this bumper eliminates that which is visible on your last pic, the 00-03 lips did it too and its the only issue i have with it.

Plus i see on getting this bumper assuming fit is perfect (which as you stated you will let us know on a later date) is elimination of the black seal that lies between the bumper and stock lip, as i stated before the edges on the sides, and of course the aero improvements you've mentioned. Elimination on the ulgly fake ducts, and for those that hate the front black grill too. Humh need to see this with an intercooler. Im just wondering if anyone is going to be able to match rio yellow, being a new color and all.

I was thinking of custom molding the lip which is 350 or so plus cost of molding and painting. Once i see close of pics this might be a better alternative. Pending fit and material.

ps. i was just giving my 2cents

I'm still not sure what you mean by shaving the edges. I guess I am dense. As for paint since you are local there is a shop out in Long Island that a few of us have been to and been happy with.

I have a feeling they won't because these are the latest production pics they released and the bumper for me is already in transit.

dan this is what i mean http://www.aj-racing.com/AJPwR/BenAP103-5.JPG

see how the stock 04 bumper and lip (same for earlier models) don't have a straight line on the edge by the wheels, i was just pointing out the amuse, eliminated that which is a good thing that is all.
