Hello Folks, BulletProof is proud to announce the new Amuse R1 Front Bumper. It follows the new classic design of the 2004 S2000 bumper but with a slight variation.

Full front bumper from Amuse. This bumper has a venturi under plate integrated into the design to provide increased aerodynamic benefit.

Designed with the help of Yamanouchi, founder of Polyphony Digital and Gran Turismo (who also owns a S2000). This full bumper is designed for aerodynamic benefit and also for ground clearance as it doesnt extend as low as some other aftermarket bumpers.

Rarely is a bumper designed with this much function, classic looks and everyday drivability.

Please note that the difference between the orange and white S2000s shown is simply the painting style. By painting the lower section black, it gives the look of two pieces.

I will be getting one in soon and will post pics of it and do a complete write-up on the fit. Pricing is currently set at $1082.90 plus shipping. Anyone interested stayed tune or contact me for ordering information.

i know that mounting positions and brackets are slighly different between -'03 and '04 models,
hence '04 bumpers are not "plug-and-play" to -'03 s2000s.

how does this new amuse bumper fit -'03 models?

if it's "plug-and-play" for my '02, this will be my new bumper.

I won't know for sure until it comes. But I don't think Seung is correct anyway. The only difference between the pre 04 and the 04 bumpers is that you have to change the styrofoam absorber. All the brackets are the same.

aside from the aero changes, would you say that is a stock bumper with a stock lip molded to it, and shaving the edges? and removing the grill, looks nice though. Specillay the vents. How much would it cost to paint one of these?

Fausto you and I both know cost to paint will depend on the shop you go to. I've seen shitty paint jobs for $50, and I've seen shitty paint jobs for $300 and vice versa. Your question is if it's the OEM bumper with OEM lip is what kills me. Like I stated it appears they followed the lines (actually not really sure who designed which first), apparently but it's obviously different. The side vents are different and the lip portion is different. I have no clue what you mean by shaving the edges since from pics the Amuse comes out further then the OEM. As for material there seems to be mention that the bottom portion is urethane. But I am not positive, I will find out.
