Bought this c/f trunk lid to shed some weight off my s2k, just wanted to see what you guys thought about it.

 

Im suprised that you 1. actually got what you paid for from Mastergrade and 2. That it fits good.

wow looks good. looking for that trunk also. is it 1x1 carbon weave? how much did you pay for it. and whats there website. i have suzuka too. i was wondering how it would look like.

It is a different design (kind of an integrated wing). Looks good in person.

Did you happen to weigh the OEM trunk and the Carbon trunk? If so could you disclose the weights of each?

I have been considering this mod, but I dont care how it looks I would paint the trunk anyway. My concern is shedding weight without gutting the car or drilling holes.

 

That trunk is the one Mastergrade designed to flow or go with the Mugen hardtop.

 

Fits better than most i've seen. No "buckling" in the middle. Got any more detailed pics of the fitment?

 

Looks good i was wondering how that would look. I also have a suzuka with blue top.
