How does this compare to the other brands? Do the gussets add strength that is needed? It feels a bit odd to order it without the gussets if someone actually felt they benifit enough to put them on in the first place.

Our bar is a 1 piece design, Full TIG welded. mounting belt portion is CNC machined. Meets SCCA and NASA requirements. The Gussets do add Strength, however their not 100% needed, we just decided to add it for the extra strength and the way it looks is also a nice touch

I’m assuming it’s not safe to use harness with this rollbar..

looks a bit low for the angle of the belt

That would entirely depend on how tall you are and how you mount the seat. The spec is 0-15* down from shoulders.

The mounting plates look small. In some pictures it looks like the welds come right to the edge of the plate. Can we see more focused shots of the mounting plates installed?
