Default New Hardtop

just recently put this on. there were some minor setbacks which delayed the install about a month. mounting hardware issues. rear glass broke in half during shipping (which im STILL trying to resolve with the vendor who will remain nameless unless the issue is settled within the next week). the whole top fisheyed when we painted it, so we had to touch up each fisheye with clear and let it dry for a week, then sand down and buff the entire thing.

so here it is. VIS CF Mugen Replica:

all in all, im pretty happy with it. fitment is great and only required minor adjustments to get it perfect. no waterleaks whatsover. only thing i wish i would have done is buy the OEM hardware as opposed to an aftermarket kit.

coming up:
-Lip
-new wheels (RPF1's going up for sale)
-built bottom end and some substantial boost

Wow! That looks great for a Replica Hardtop. I am seriously in love with your color.

I haven't seen that paint scheme before, but it looks really good. Way to be creative.

Looks good. What different about the aftermarket mounting hardware as opposed to the oem?
