Looks good. What different about the aftermarket mounting hardware as opposed to the oem?
instead of having the oem side catcher and hardtop latch, there is a body side bracket and hardtop bracket. you use bolts to secure the hardtop bracket to the body side bracket.

the brackets i got didnt line up correctly with the body holes, so i had to drill the holes out on the brackets one size up. on top of that, the body side brackets made contact with soft top main support beam when opening/closing the soft top. to fix that problem, i had to grind down the body side bracket for extra clearance. finally, the brackets themselves are constructed pretty poorly. they are merely spot-welded together, which makes for a structurally compromised component.

luckily, i have the resources and the know how on how to make things work. i rewelded the brackets for more strength. i also made some much needed spacers which were not included in the kit so that the bolt used to fasten the two pieces together could actually stretch to secure everything together properly.

and i really wish i had the convenience of simply turning a latch to detatch the top.

i tried to save some bucks by cutting a corner and ended up with a headache. given, none of the components are OEM, and aftermarket parts NEVER fit the way OEM does, but for the price i paid for the kit, i shouldnt have had to do all the extra work to make a simple bolt in kit work the way it should.

sorry for the rant, and thanks for all the comments!
