well UPS isnt going to fix the door! They are such a**holes!!! Im so pissed off right now! Its not my fault there f**king driver couldnt carry the door and pushed it off the truck into my driveway instead! I would have gladly helped him carry it! And on top of it they are giving shit about shipping the door back to me! Oh well, hopefully i can get them to at least ship it back to me. Ill just put it on the race s2000 until i order carbon doors for it.

Well guys i started to put the motor together tonight. My friend Brandon came over to help and brought over some T-guages, a torque wrench, and a ring compressor for me so we could get stared! Got one piston in. Then i broke something trying to get the second one in. Actually i broke 2 things. Anyone want to guess what? All i have to say is that i hate ring compressors when they want to act funny. 1st piston went in no problem. 2nd one i cant say the same for. I gave up for the night and will try again tomorrow.

Yep! Those ring compressors can be nasty. I did the exact same thing the first time I built an engine.. 4G63. Whenever your tightening the compressor over the rings, the sleeves that make up the body of the compressor can become misaligned creating a gap between the block deck and the compressor. I just took a rubber mallet and a few light taps made it flush with the block deck and never had an issue. That sucks, piston rings are pricey for what they are!
