I don't know that the wing is any more effecting on this mount than it would be on a standard trunk mount. It's mounted to the chassis which is better but I don't know how much of a difference it really makes.
My understanding is that assuming that there is no flex, the longer a mount like that is, the more downforce it makes. For two reasons, one it puts the wing further up and further back so it is getting more flow, and not getting air that is being broken up by the roof of the car, and two, it acts like a lever. The longer the lever, the more force applied. Assuming that at a certain speed the wing makes 100lbs of down force, it will make 2x's as much down force on a 2 ft stand than on a 1 ft stand.

Again, someone correct me if I am wrong.

Looks great. Don't be misguided by the fact that he posted in the gallery, this car is built for lap times, looking good getting groceries.

There is nothing crazy about the wing element, looks like a Voltex Type 1. The difference being that its chassis mounted. I know most of you gallery folk don't even know where to find a race track, but if you ever do, go check out a trunk mounted wing setup (I know, wings are stupid and don't work), and you will see a large amount of trunk deformation, hence chassis mounted setup.

Those look like 17x9.5+32 w/255 RE11. Maybe a 3-5pm spacer.

car's badass. That wing looks like it can handle a sumo wrestler sitting on it.

I like the front lip and the Weds...not so much the wing. Car looks like a beast though.

Which actually brings up a good point. If you would not be comfortable with the idea of someone sitting on your spoiler, then it is not mounted securely enough. Depending on what angle you set it at you could easily get 200lbs of down force out of a wing that size. Also the uprights should act similarly to over-sized end-plates and help keep the car from over rotating.

Very functional looking, not great looking. That is unless you have the kind of sick twisted mind that I do, and find things that are functional to be beautiful.
